Chocolate can be combined with so many gorgeous flavours and ingredients, in this Masterclass we’ll be exploring different classic confectionery techniques such as fudge, marshmallow and nougat to create a whole chocolate box full of different chocolates.

This workshop is part of our Chocolate Master Class Series, it can be enjoyed on its own or as part of a series of classes. Previous knowledge will not be necessary so it's a perfect introduction to the mechanics of working with chocolate, especially for any for any cake maker that wants to understand more about how chocolate works. 

During the workshop you will:

  • Participants will learn how to combine ingredients to create different effects with sugar and chocolate that they will be able to apply to make their own favourite flavours that will be hand dipped in chocolate. 
  • Learn basic sugar boiling techniques to be able to make marshmallow, fudge and nougat
  • Learn how to combine sugar with different ingredients to create different effects
  • You will work with tempered chocolates to hand dip your chocolate confectionery
  • By the end of this workshop you will be able to effectively boil sugar to create your desired consistency.
  • You will make a variety of confectionery items to create your chocolate box for you to take home.
  • You will beautifully wrap your creations to take home and enjoy
  • Go home with recipes and your newly found chocolate knowledge

What do you take away with you?

Each participant will take home approximately 400g of your own chocolate as well as the recipes and technical worksheets to be able to make your own and perfect your skills at home.

Who is it suitable for? 

Perfect for chocolate lovers of all ages and abilities who want to learn more of the secrets to create their own gorgeous chocolates at home. This course is also ideal for chefs and catering students to learn how to work with fine quality chocolate in a range of environments and purposes.
Please note that children are most welcome at this workshop, however we do ask that they are accompanied by a full paying adult participant

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you wish to cancel your booking up to 24 hours in advance we ask you to consider transferring the booking to another date otherwise we agree to refund you the cost of your booking LESS an administration charge for the cancellation which will be a total charge of 8% of the value of each individual ticket.

If you wish to cancel your booking with less than 24 hours notice and for a Covid-related illness reason then we agree to transfer your booking (on a once only basis) to a date up to one year in the future from the date of the request.  Unfortunately we cannot offer any refunds for a booking which is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

We currently allow a maximum of six guests per session to adhere to social distancing and safety measures. Our priority is ensuring our customers and members of staff feel comfortable and safe during their time with us.
