Chocolate Savoury Menu

Our Savoury menu has a range of our current favourite chocolate dishes for you to enjoy, here's a taster of some of our latest creations, however our team are always discovering new amazing chocolate combinations so they might have something new on the menu when you join us. Our Savoury Chocolate Menu is available throughout our opening hours. 

• Toasted Goat's Cheese & Cocoa Nib Scone  - delicious served toasted with butter, the cocoa nibs add a lovely nutty texture with a deep chocolate flavour. 
• Soup of the Day - we love to make our soup slightly spicy, the addition of the white chocolate with spices and seasoning melts into the soup and creates a gorgeous creaminess. Our soup is served with Cocoa Nib Rye Bread, made especially for us by the Haxby Bake House. 
• Open Yorkshire Sandwich - Toasted Haxby Cobb with rosemary, red onion & dark chocolate ganache topped with Yorkshire Blue Cheese & slices of York Ham. It's an intriguing, yet outstanding combination. 
• Grilled Goat's Cheese & Red Onion Open Sandwich - Rosemary, Red Onion & Dark Chocolate sauce with Goat's Cheese grilled on Haxby Cobb
• Barbecue Chicken Quesidilla - Chicken smothered in a smokey chocolate BBQ sauce 
• York Cocoa House Rarebit - Our delicious home made rarebut contains Rudgate's York Chocolate Stout and topped with Cocoa Nibs.
• Vegetable Chilli & Nachos - A chocolate tradition, it adds a gorgeous depth to a classic savoury and chocolate combination.

Special Dietary Requirements:

We have a small kitchen at the Cocoa House, but all our items are hand made on site using some great ingredients from local producers, it's difficult for us to be able to say that our foods are free from anything, however we can usually offer most items suitable for different special dietary requirements, but do let us know if you are coming especially and we'll make sure we have something perfect for you.
