We source our cocoa from farmers and traders working around the world that we feel represent viable and sustainable models for flavour, quality, livelihoods, landscapes and communities.
Famed for being the home to some of the oldest indigenous varities of cocoa, Ecuador offers a wealth of varities as well as some exceptional production processes creating some of the most distinctive cocoa harvests that can taste very different to many of our expectations of chocolate.
Our cocoa has been cultivated at Hacienda Victoria, an estate created by Carlos Eduardo García Fuentes based just outside Guayquil. The estate cultivates the famous Ecuadorian Arriba Cacao on the farm in an ambitious and revolutionary culitvation model. Focusing on high quality to create some of the finest cocoa in the world the estate has developed a beautiful floral, gently fruity cocoa with many delicate and evolving fine flavours.
