Our Chililique 85% chocolate is made with cacao from the Chulucanas Valley in Piura region in Peru. The area is not far from what is thought to be the birth place of cacao in the depths of the Amazon rainforest. 

These light beans have a beautiful floral fermentation that gives them a taste like hops and jasmine tea. With such a clean fermentation these beans need little processing, so we gently roast the beans to preserve the original aromas. We've made this chocolate with only a little sugar to showcase the full flavour of the cacao. It's create a sherbet like, sharp floral chocolate with long reaching flavours that in many ways tastes nothing like the chocolate we are used to. 

Ingredients: Peruvian Cacao, Cocoa Butter, Sugar
