Our Meta 63% dark chocolate is made using cacao from the Finca Aguas Claras estate in Meta, Colombia. The cacao is fermented on the farm, retaining more value for the Guiza family who own the estate and farm the cacao. The cacao has been grown amongst the banana and citrus fruit of the farm that provide the essential shade. We've found the cocoa to have a distinctive, ripe banana aroma after roasting that contributes a smooth, creamy cocoa flavour to the chocolate.
Our cacao is directly sourced with our partners Cocoanect and centrally fermented in order to ensure distinctive flavours of the highest quality.
Ingredients: Meta Cacao, Sugar, Cocoa Butter

Many of our Single Origin chocolates are made using identical processes in order to showcase the varying natural qualities in each cacao variety.
