The art of sugar boiling has long been used by confectioners to sweeten and preserve fruits and nuts, but few techniques are as delectable as caramel. We will explore the art of sugar boiling to create caramel that can be blended with a variety of ingredients to different effects, from luscious liquid caramels to melt in the mouth butterscotch. 

This workshop is part of our Chocolate Master Class Series, it can be enjoyed on its own or as part of a series of classes. Previous knowledge will not be necessary so it's a perfect introduction to the mechanics of working with chocolate, especially for any for any cake maker that wants to understand more about how chocolate works. 

During the workshop you will:
  • Learn basic sugar boiling techniques to be able to make classic caramel
  • Learn how to combine caramel with a range of ingredients to create different flavours and consistencies
  • You will work with tempered chocolates to mould and create your filled fancy fondants
  • By the end of this workshop you will be able to effectively boil sugar to create your desired consistency.
  • You will make a variety of flavours to create your filled chocolates for you to take home.
  • You will beautifully wrap your creations to take home and enjoy
  • Go home with recipes and your newly found chocolate knowledge

      Tickets purchased here can be redeemed on our Chocolate Master Class Series on Saturdays at 11.30am - 2.00pm and on Thursdays at 6.30pm, subject to availability.

      Reservations for specific dates and times can be made using the form below. Upon purchasing a voucher you will be sent a booking code which can be redeemed on this workshop or can be left open so you can select the Master Class Workshop of your choice.
