Cocoa Beans - Chillilique – Peru
Grown in the mountainous Chulucanas district of Northern Peru, this cocoa is fragrant and floral with hop-like aromas, similar to those found in many craft beers or ales. It's also rich in drying, tea-like tannins.
Please note these beans are provided for chocolate making purposes. We advise that these beans are cooked to at least 100° C and the shells removed before consuming. Please be aware that these beans are sold as provided to us, they may contain broken and double bean material.
