We source our Ugandan cocoa beans from the Rwenzori Mountain Range which borders the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Virunga National Park. The Mountains are thought to be the birthplace of the Nile and the snow from the mountain tops runs through the cocoa farms below to flourish them with water - giving the cocoa a rich nuttiness. This moderately dark 65% dark chocolate also has gentle dried fruit and biscuit flavour notes. Do you pick up on any of these? You might pick up on other flavours as everyone's tastes are different.
