Shipping, Delivery & Collection

Delivery

We will do everything we can to ensure your chocolate arrives in plenty of time. When you place an order with us we aim for it to be ready to post within 48 hours (this includes chocolates and items from our key chocolate range).

We send our chocolate parcels out via Royal Mail tracked service or for larger packages, via DPD/UPS/Parcel Force to the postage address you specify when placing the order. Standard Tracked postage and packaging is from £4.95. The cost of postage and packaging is calculated based upon the weight of your chocolate order.

Collection

The option for collection at York Cocoa Works is free and available on all orders. We endeavour to have your order prepared within 48 hours of placing it and we will notify you when it is ready to be picked up. Please ensure you have your order number and confirmation to present upon arrival.

If you are no longer able to collect your chocolate as planned you can always contact our team who can arrange postage or delivery for you.

E-Vouchers

Chocolate vouchers are available to purchase online for yourself or to be given as a gift. These will automatically be sent electronically as an E-Voucher that can be redeemed online either for specific products, events or activities.
When ordering an E-Voucher you will receive electronic copy via email within an hour. We will also send the relevant information about our experiences and workshops that the voucher is valid for and guidance on redemption.
Chocolate and Experience Gift cards are available and can be sent out for an additional £1 presentation and postage. 

Pre-Order Items

Some of our chocolate collection, particularly items in our Corporate Gifting and Wedding Favour Collections are available to pre-order in larger quantities. As these items are prepared to order, please allow three weeks for us to create and ship these items for you. 

Delivery of Chocolate Orders

We send our chocolate parcels out via Royal Mail tracked service or for larger packages, via DPD/UPS/Parcel Force to the postage address you specify when placing the order. The cost of postage and packaging is calculated based upon the weight of your chocolate order.

For cocoa bean and chocolate ingredients, shipping will be calculated upon check out according to the courier services available. Clients are welcome to organise their own collection service if preferred.

Delivery of Chocolate and Cocoa Internationally

We are delighted to be able to share and send our cocoa and chocolate products around the world*, however please be aware that there may be additional costs and time delays incurred for exporting to some destinations that might add to the cost and time for delivery as well as requiring further information for customs and duty.

Please be aware that the receiving customer may be liable for additional delivery, customs costs and clearance should these be required.  

*At this current time we are not able to send our chocolates to countries within the EU.

Warm Weather Shipping

Please be aware that during summer months it may become too warm to ship our chocolates. To ensure your chocolates arrive in a desirable condition for you to enjoy, we will keep your order safe and dispatch as soon as it is cool enough to do so.
We will endeavour to contact you to let you know if your delivery is likely to be delayed due to weather, however we cannot always guarantee your chocolates will arrive in a desirable condition.
