Learn how we make chocolate at York Cocoa Works with our Chocolate Manufactory Tasting Journey.
During your time with us, one of our expert chocolate makers will share the secrets of our cocoa and how we transform it into chocolate. You will discover our origins and the rich history of chocolate making in York before taking a peek into our Manufactory and watching our chocolate being made. This session concludes with a special tasting conducted by our cocoa connoisseur. You will sample the chocolate we make from cocoa beans all around the world, experiencing the different strengths and flavour notes in our range.
Upon purchase, we will post the experience voucher to you or the recipient or you can choose to add a 95g box of mixed chocolates in a presentation box to whet the appetite. Please let us know in the notes if you would like a handwritten note included.
Reservations
Reservations can be made directly for the date of your choice by using the link below and using the code on the voucher at the checkout.
Reservations are available for our Manufactory Tasting Journey at 9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm, 2.00pm and 3.30pm daily for groups of up to 12* people.

Perfect for chocolate lovers of all ages and abilities who want to learn more of the secrets to create their own gorgeous chocolates at home. Please note that we recommend that children under 13 years accompanied by a full paying adult participant
Dietary Requirements
It's important to us that everyone has a wonderful experience chocolate making, which is why we want to enable every chocolate lover to be able to have a go being creative. We are able to offer most chocolate making activities with allergen free ingredients, however due to the environment our workshops take place in we can not guarantee that the products are free from all traces. If you have any member of your party who would like to discuss their requirements further please do refer them to contact our team so we may be able to welcome them on their visit.
