School's out! If you're looking to enjoy a family friendly activity with your little ones this February Half Term, come and join us at York Cocoa Works. We have lots of fun, chocolate-filled experiences to keep your family entertained while the schools are closed.
Chocolate Bar Making
Practise your chocolatier skills in our daily Chocolate Bar Making workshops in our Cocoa Academy. Design and create your own chocolate bar to take away with you to enjoy at home.
During this workshop you will discover where cocoa comes from and its origins, learn that we manufacture our chocolate here on site and try a selection of own white, milk and dark chocolate before working with your chosen chocolate to mould and design your very own chocolate bar.
Chocolate Lollipop Making
Budding chocolate makers are invited to join us at York Cocoa Works to craft your own chocolate lollipop. Simply pop into our Chocolate Cafe where your little one will design and create their own lollipop. Why don't you make one too? Or simply enjoy a luxury hot chocolate and enjoy a few moments peace while your little one is busy creating their chocolate masterpiece!
Chocolate Manufactory Tasting Journey
Perhaps you and your children are interested in learning how we make chocolate at York Cocoa Works? If so our Chocolate Manufactory Tasting Journey is not to be missed.
During your time with us, one of our expert chocolate makers will share the secrets of our cocoa and how we transform it into chocolate. You will discover our origins and learn the rich history of chocolate making in York before taking a peek into our manufactory and watching our chocolate being made. This session concludes with a special tasting conducted by our Cocoa Expert. You will sample the chocolate we make from cocoa beans all around the world, experiencing the different strengths and flavour notes in our range.
Following the journey, you are invited to join us in our Cocoa Cafe where you can use your ticket to enjoy further discounts across our whole product range.
