Special Dietary Requirements

It is the organisers responsibility to request and provide us with details of dietary requirements amongst your party at least 48 hours in advance. Our Chocolate Making process takes place in our chocolate manufactory at York Cocoa Works where we work with cocoa beans, sugar and cocoa butter. Some of our chocolate contains milk so our activities can be Vegan friendly but not entirely free from milk traces. We do not use nuts in any of our products, though we do offer almond milk in our cafe as a non-milk alternative. We are usually able to accommodate and welcome guests with most special dietary requirements and in some instances are able to implement an enhanced protocol. We ask that event organisers support us in the delivery of our activities to ensure that everyone is able to take part as fully as possible by contacting participants prior to the workshop and sharing with our team details of any specific requirements. Participants are welcome to get in touch with our team directly to discuss specific requirements to ensure they can fully enjoy their experience with us.

Amendments to Bookings

Our activities are quoted to cater for the number that you anticipate attending. If your numbers drop below our minimum requirements or differ by +/- 20% of the original anticipated numbers we reserve the right to charge a small numbers surcharge, open the workshop to additional participants or to locate the activity in a location most appropriate for your booking. We endeavour to be supportive, clear and flexible to enable your experience with us to be a special, chocolate filled occasion but we understand that details can change. If you anticipate your requirements changing significantly we appreciate you letting us know and we will do our best to support you with your plans.

Cancellations made less than 2 weeks and more than 48 hours prior to your booking are not eligible for a refund, however a voucher may be provided for use on our website, in-store or on future experiences to an appropriate value. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to your booking are not eligible for a refund.
